All the ghosts and goblins and various things that go bump in the night descended on the Runner's Edge on Main Street in Farmingdale on Halloween Night, Oct. 31, as Greater Long Island Running Club Fun Run Chairman Sam Zinn brought the gang out for the annual GLIRC Halloween Fun Run.

With Runner's Edge proprietor Bob Cook away in Ireland getting ready for the Dublin Marathon, employees and assorted hangers on at The Runners Edge did an extra special job in making everyone feel welcome, and the party atmosphere certainly prevailed at the store, on the roads, and at the post-party dinner at Annabelle's, further up on Main Street. Kevin McQuillan joined Syosset ladies Betty Grayson and Joan Ackerman to share top awards for the best costumes, but it was a tough call to pick among lots of great costumes.
