I would like to take this opportunity to thank both Town Councilwoman Bonnie Eisler and the Town of Oyster Bay Highway Department for the quality snow removal job that was performed during the last storm.

After the New Year's Day storm many telephone calls were made to Councilwoman Eisler's office at Town Hall. The East Birchwood community voiced its disappointment with the snow removal process. East Birchwood was very unhappy with the lack of snow removal on both the main arteries and interior secondary streets.

The councilwoman and the Highway Department heard our message.

The second storm received a totally opposite response. Several sanders, plows and supervisory personnel were seen throughout the community of East Birchwood.

As one resident commented, "A supervisor actually knocked on my door and asked if everything was done ok."

Now that's service!

Thank you again, for a job well done.
