Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Planned for New Jericho Middle/High School Complex
September is a time of new beginnings. This year, the newly expanded Jericho School District middle/high school complex will open its doors on Tuesday, Sept. 4. A ribbon cutting ceremony has been planned to celebrate the completion of the magnificent new facilities that are now available to students at both the middle school and high school.

Syosset Baseball Association News
For all 9-12-year-old boys interested in trying out for Syosset fall travel baseball - tryouts will be held on Friday August 24 from 6 - 7 p.m. at Stillwell field #1. All participants are required to attend the tryout session. The child should be properly dressed, wearing cleats and equipped to play baseball. Jericho Office Awarded Certificate
This year's Salomon Smith Barney Nick Katsounis Memorial Wheelchair Championship Race was a major success for Long Island and for wheelchair athletics generally, and the lion's share of the credit goes to Salomon Smith Barney, acting through its New York Suburban regional office, based in Jericho. In recognition of its generosity, Salomon Smith Barney was awarded a special certificate by the Oyster Bay Town Board.
