During the first week of August, a week of record-breaking heat, the Second Annual Kelly Amonte Girls' Lacrosse Camp drew over 160 young players from all over Long Island. The girls, ranging in age from 8 to 16, arrived every day to learn skills from some of the most accomplished players and coaches in the US.

Fresh off their fourth consecutive World Cup win (July 14 in High Wycombe, England), Amonte worked with the USA teammate Randall Flynn, Karen McCrate (head coach of C.W. Post's women's lacrosse team - Division II Champions this year!), and many other outstanding college players and coaches to deliver an outstanding program of skill development.
