The Braves hosted the East Meadow Jets for their sixth game of their season. Syosset did not have their scoring leader Stu Coleman for the game, but they still played aggressively against the Jets and won the game 65-60, placing them at a 3-3 season record. The Braves almost had their most dominant performance of the season by maintaining the lead for the entire game, but they allowed East Meadow , who was led by Ryan Kent's 25 points, to rally in the fourth quarter and only led by one point with 1:45 remaining. Due to their tenacious defense, and senior Jason Parasco's two free throw's in the final seconds, the Braves were able to add another victory to their season.

"I wanted to stop dribble penetration, and stop Kent," the Braves coach Dean Strohmayer said after the game. "We were trying to gamble on shots, but Chris Hassel kept us in the game. Chris is a star and his performance affects the entire team. Its hard not having Coleman in the lineup, but other players, like Seran Ozcan and Andrew Hovance are stepping up and doing their jobs. We're 3-3 in leagued play and we need a three to four game winning streak to have a chance at the playoffs, but for now, we'll take one game at a time."

During halftime, some time outs and in between quarters, the Braves cheerleaders take over the court and give Braves fans even more to cheer about (other than the score). Co-captain Ali Rubin leads the Braves cheerleading squad, and junior Jaime Livingston, and sophomores Jenessa Polsinelli and Rachel Frishman add to the game's entertainment.
