Jonathon Roth, who will be entering his sophomore year at Syosset High School in the fall, has been performing at many events throughout Nassau County over the past few months. In June 2001, the Town of Oyster Bay Board voted 6-1 to reject an application submitted by the Taubman Company to build an 860,000 square foot mall on the 39-acre Cerro Wire factory site in Syosset. Registration dates for the 2002 season of Syosset Youth Football and Cheerleading, for girls and boys ages 5 - 13 years old, have been scheduled as follows: Thursday, July 18 and Wednesday, July 24 from 7 - 9 p.m. Registration will be held at Syosset Community Park on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, which is located across from the Fox Hollow Inn.
