Syosset Student Pleasing Audiences with Singing Voice
Jonathon Roth, who will be entering his sophomore year at Syosset High School in the fall, has been performing at many events throughout Nassau County over the past few months. Since the age of 3, Roth has been singing, acting and participating in theater and recently he has been able to show others the impressive talents that he possesses.

Court Annuls Town Board's Decision Regarding Cerro Wire
In June 2001, the Town of Oyster Bay Board voted 6-1 to reject an application submitted by the Taubman Company to build an 860,000 square foot mall on the 39-acre Cerro Wire factory site in Syosset. This past Monday, State Supreme Court Justice James M. Catterson ruled that the town did not base its decision on substantial evidence and annulled the decision made by the town board.

Last Registration Dates Scheduled for Syosset Youth Football and Cheerleading
Registration dates for the 2002 season of Syosset Youth Football and Cheerleading, for girls and boys ages 5 - 13 years old, have been scheduled as follows: Thursday, July 18 and Wednesday, July 24 from 7 - 9 p.m. Registration will be held at Syosset Community Park on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, which is located across from the Fox Hollow Inn. When entering the park at the stop sign make a right turn, proceed to the mansion. Park in the lot and come in the door by the sign and follow signs to the third floor.
