With the deepest of sorrow, the Syosset Baseball Association mourns the passing of our colleague and longtime member of our board of directors, Mr. Joseph Sciacca. As wonderful an individual as anyone will ever associate with, Joe Sciacca devoted over 15 years of his life to teaching an entire generation of baseball players from the Syosset-Woodbury community the skills of baseball and the characteristics of integrity. Joe was a loving husband, a devoted father, an affable friend - that special kind of person that makes a neighborhood a desirable place in which to live. A pillar of our community, a man of unique generosity, and a role model to children, Joe Sciacca will be missed dearly.
