The Center for Developmental Disabilities, Inc., which is located in Woodbury, held their annual golf classic on July 8 at the Muttontown Club in East Norwich. Bill Bohn, board member and chairman of this year's golf event hosted the event along with Deborah Patey, Director of Development at the Center. Also on hand was their 2001 dinner dance honoree and Hall of Fame hockey great Clark Gillies, who helped out by agreeing to be the auctioneer. Besides the wonderful raffle prizes drawings, Gillies auctioned off several donated golf course foursomes and his autographed framed jersey.
