Oyster Bay Board Holds Meeting
Hunting Hill at Woodbury, Inc., contract vendee and Woodbury Racquet Club, Inc., fee owner, submitted an application to the Town of Oyster Bay Board for a change of zone from a one-family residence to a one and two-family residence on the property currently occupied by Woodbury Racquet and Fitness Club, located on the south side of Jericho Turnpike, east of Juneau Boulevard, in Woodbury. The hearing was held on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Town of Oyster Bay Hall.

Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao Visits Alma Mater
Elaine Chao graduated Syosset High School in 1971. She was involved in her class as she was a member of the field hockey team, theater club and yearbook committee, but her past teachers described her as quiet. They never expected that 30 years later, Chao would be back visiting her alma mater as the United States Secretary of Labor.

The Jericho Jaspers Girls U-15 travel soccer team captured first place in their division by defeating the Bayside Flyers 5-0, Sunday Nov. 17 on a cold and windy afternoon at Jericho High School.

The Jericho School District Plans Relay For Life
The Jericho School District is currently planning a "Relay For Life." With the support of the American Cancer Society, the district will be hosting the relay at the Jericho Middle/High School complex on May 17 and 18, 2003. "Relay For Life" is an overnight celebration of hope, progress and answers. Groups of friends, families, neighbors and co-workers form teams and walk around a track to raise funds, awareness and spirits of those present.
