I read this article [regarding changing Syosset's Mascot] and it made me feel sick and angry. There are a lot more Syosset Braves past and present than there are people voting on this issue. I'm sure that my fellow alumni feel the same way as I do. After so many years since I graduated Syosset High I still feel proud to have been a part of Syosset Football Brave State Championship and third in the country's high school football ratings.
