Overcoming a slow start, the Woodbury Common's Mystics used a strong second half to top the Lynxx 29-15 in Jericho Athletic Association's fifth and sixth grade girl's baseketball league.

The Mystics were led by 10 consecutive second half points from Shana Feibus and 14 points from Alison Kinzer. Melanie Checkla helped the Lynxx in the game with a combination of drives and outside shots for 12 points, along with the strong play of Julie Avrutine, 3 points, and Abigail Weinberg. The game was tied at 4 early when the Mystics took the lead behind the clutch scoring of Cole Shneider, 4 points and the aggressive offensive and defensive play of Tachawl Rosener, Jessica Weingast, 1 point, Sanchita Menra, Jamie Scheinthal, Jessica Lebovits, Marissa Taurasi and Samantha Gordon.
