With the deepest of sorrows, the Syosset Baseball Association mourns the passing of Jeffrey Mosenson. One of the finest baseball players ever to participate in our programs, Jeffrey was an even more fabulous person, an individual who placed the needs of others before his own, who selflessly gave of his time to so many without asking for anything in return, a wonderful young man who always brought a smile to the face of anyone who knew him. Jeffrey was a unique treasure of humanity, and the world is a poorer place without him in it.

In Jeffrey's honor, the Syosset Baseball Association has donated to the Jeffrey Mosenson Memorial Fund, and has established a perpetual scholarship in his name to be awarded annually to the graduating Syosset High School student who best demonstrates the exemplary athletic abilities, outstanding character traits, and enthusiastic devotion to service that were the hallmarks of Jeffrey's life.
