Eisler Seeking Federal Funds for Parking Improvements in Syosset
Town of Oyster Bay Councilwoman Bonnie Eisler announced last week that she is working in conjunction with Congressman Steve Israel to secure $8 million through the Federal Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA 21) to help alleviate the severe shortage of commuter parking spaces at the Syosset train station.

News from JAA's Fifth and Sixth Grade Girl's Basketball
Jessica Lebovits' winning basket in overtime led a depleted Woodbury Common's Mystics team to a 19-15 win against the Starzz on March 8 at Cantiague gym. Due to injuries and an NCAA investigation, the Mystics played the game with only five players. These fabulous five gave 100 percent team effort with their passing, defending, rebounding and clutch scoring.

Jericho Youth Football Fall 2003 Season Registration
The Jericho Youth Football League will hold its fall season registrations for all boys and girls interested in participating in the non-contact flag football league. Registration will be held on Monday and Tuesday, March 24 and 25 at Jackson Elementary School Cafeteria from 7 until 9 p.m. Players must be at least 7 years of age and no older than 14 years of age by Dec. 1 in order to be eligible to participate.
