Town of Oyster Bay Councilwoman Bonnie Eisler held a meeting on Tuesday night at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park to discuss local issues and comprehensive planning. The boys' fifth-grade baseball travel team, the Jericho Jay Sox beat the K-Nines from Huntington, 12-4, to even their season record at 5 and 5. The highlight of the day was a massive 220 foot 2-run homerun to the deepest part of Merry Lane off the bat of Jay Sox slugger, Brandon "Big Mac" First.
