Eisler Holds Meeting for Syosset and Woodbury Residents
Town of Oyster Bay Councilwoman Bonnie Eisler held a meeting on Tuesday night at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park to discuss local issues and comprehensive planning. The meeting, which was Eisler's third in a series of meetings to update communities in the Town of Oyster Bay, also focused on Eisler's proposal for a Retail Overlay District (ROD).

First Blast Leads Jay Sox to Win
The boys' fifth-grade baseball travel team, the Jericho Jay Sox beat the K-Nines from Huntington, 12-4, to even their season record at 5 and 5. The highlight of the day was a massive 220 foot 2-run homerun to the deepest part of Merry Lane off the bat of Jay Sox slugger, Brandon "Big Mac" First. First, who went 1 for 3 on the day, put the game out of reach with his 2 run moon shot in the fourth inning.
