Traveling Town Hall to Visit Syosset Library Sept. 4
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto recently announced that the Town's Traveling Town Hall, a mobile facility with the ability to bring information and assistance directly to residents in their home communities, will visit the Syosset Public Library, 225 South Oyster Bay Road, on Thursday, September 4 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

As an indication of how far the lacrosse program has come, kids from Jericho spent the summer playing lacrosse in various leagues throughout Long Island. With the three season program, the kids are developing into some of the top players in the area.

The Syosset Basketball league recently announced a call for Boys Travel Team Coaches, Grades 4-12. Any interested parties must contact Lauren Rottkamp at 921-1611 to arrange an interview with the league board of directors. The deadline for application is Friday, Sept. 5.
