Last month, the Eastern Long Island Branch of Women's League for Conservative Judaism honored its best and brightest leaders for 2003 at Woodbury Jewish Center. Nancy Cook, co-president of Temple Beth Torah Sisterhood was TBTs choice for Women of Achievement. Cook, a working mom to David and stepsons Brian and Russell, has always been active in the Sisterhood. As co-president, she has initiated two very successful activities - ceramics night for moms and children and the Rabbi's Book Talk. Her smiling face can always be seen around Temple Beth Torah. She is committed to Sisterhood and its efforts to raise money for the Torah Fund of Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City.
