This past Saturday before a capacity crowd in Linderhurst, Jericho's Boys under-7 soccer team put on a show and took first place. The team was led offensively by Chase Scotland who scored five goals in four games and was named offensive MVP, Andrew Greenblatt, who scored four goals on some masterful moves and Jonah Telyas who dominated the midfield. Defender Jesse Blumenau blasted his first goals of the season and Micholas Mu didn't let anyone into Jericho's zone. Jared Weiss was again dominant in goal, stopping a penalty kick.
