Syosset Baseball Association recently announced its annual awards dinner which will be held Monday, Nov. 1 at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

Advance registration is $20 per person. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner served at 7 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded to top teams and champions in each division from 9-year-olds through major league for regular season play. Awards also will be given to summer and fall travel teams from 8-year-olds through major league. Award presentation to Syosset Baseball Association's Nassau County Babe Ruth champions.

This year's dinner will honor Syosset Baseball's 50th birthday serving the community and children enriching their baseball skills through this half-century with fun. Additionally, a special surprise guest speaker will be in attendance. Many prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening's events.

Furthermore, our ever-popular silent auction of sports memorabilia will be on view for bidding throughout the evening. Seating is limited with previously paid attendees seated first. All walk-ins (paying at the door) will be charged $25 per person. A mailing has been sent for pre-registration to all players in divisions nine and up.
