The 2004 Jericho High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team and Section III champ New Hartford earned the Class 'A' New York State co-championship after playing for 110 minutes to a 1-1 draw on Sunday, Nov. 21 at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, NY. Jericho defeated Wallkill 1-0 on Saturday, Nov.20, in the state semifinals, which qualified them to advance to the championship match against New Hartford. The game ended after four overtimes and without penalty kicks, which are used only to settle advancement. This is Jericho's first state team championship and second straight final four appearance.
