Jericho residents approved this year's budget with 1,471 voting in favor and 826 voting against it. The $83,334,146 budget represents a 7.45 percent increase over last year's budgeted expenditures.

Athletics Defeat Cardinals in JAA Baseball Game
On a cool spring evening at Merry Lane, the Robin Hood Athletics narrowly defeated the Stasi Brothers Cardinals by a score of 4-3 in a well-played pitcher's duel where several pitchers came up big for their respective teams. The Athletics used the triumvirate of Jonathan Davis, Leo Wiener and Justin Mintz, while the Cardinals received excellent pitching from Randy Liebowitz and Jeffrey Goren.

Jericho Third and Fourth Grade Lacrosse News
The Jericho third and fourth grade lacrosse team has completed six of their eight scheduled games for the spring 2005 travel season, and they have only found the loss column once. Jericho won their first four games of the season, which started April 3, before losing their first game on Mother's Day, May 8. The coaches are very excited about the about how great the team is playing as they head toward the final three games of the regular season, and a tournament to be played on Saturday, May 28 in Plainview to kick off the Memorial Day weekend.
