The communities of Syosset, Jericho and Woodbury are such wonderful places to live, which is a reflection on the residents who reside there. We, at the Syosset-Jericho Tribune, are fortunate to work with such great people who like to showcase the towns in which they live.
We receive an abundance of press releases and news items from the people in the community and the newspaper would not be as good as it is without them. We would like to take this time to apologize to those who worked so hard to write press releases, take pictures and send them into the paper and have not yet seen them published. This mainly happens to school articles, as we receive a very high volume of articles from the parents and faculty from the two school districts that the paper covers.
We will continue to run the school stories that we have received over the course of the summer. We will try and get everything published, but apologize in advance if we are not able to do so due to the abundance of releases and lack of space.
We appreciate the support from the community and thank you for your contributions.
We hope you enjoy your summer and continue to read and support the paper.
