Syosset Baseball Association has announced registration for the 2006 season beginning Saturday, Sept. 17.

All players who haven't played in Syosset Baseball Association will need to register in person at H.B. Thompson on one of the designated registration days or nights, accompanied by a copy of the player's birth certificate.

Syosset Baseball Association has moved to an early registration format to help facilitate a more proactive approach to the upcoming spring 2006 season.

All registration will be finalized by Nov. 15, just past the annual Awards Dinner to be held on Nov. 7.

A formalized refund policy procedure has been established and will be printed on each registration form as well as post on Syosset Baseball's website.

Registration forms will be mailed out to players who played in 2005 as well as distributed to all Pre-K schools throughout the Syosset and Woodbury communities. Additionally, the form will be able to be accessed for downloading and printing off the website www.syossetbaseball.org.

Registration schedule for in-person registration:

* Saturday, Sept. 17, H.B. Thompson, 9 a.m. - noon

* Wednesday, Sept. 21, H.B. Thompson, 7 - 9 p.m.

* Saturday, Sept. 24, H.B. Thompson, 9 a.m. - noon
