As a week of rain, rain, rain gave way to sunlight, the Syosset Flames of the SYAC Travel Softball Program took two games from the Jericho Juggernaut on October 16. The Flames won 9-3 and 14-11 over their crosstown rivals in bettering their record to 8-2 on the season in their U10 division.

Ashley Freedman and Liz Jacobsohn provided outstanding pitching, while Aly Girardi and Madison Littman were solid behind the plate. The Flames had their bats swinging, as they pounded out many hits on the day and ran aggressively on the basepaths.
