The special investigations squad and the second squad are investigating what they are considering a hate crime that took place in Woodbury.

According to police, unknown suspects spray-painted profanity and Swastikas on four mailboxes in Woodbury as well as the wall of a business located in Woodbury Commons on Jericho Turnpike, also in Woodbury.

The graffiti was drawn and written between 3:30 p.m. on March 31 and 12:30 p.m. on April 2. Investigators request that anyone with information about this crime contact the Nassau County Police Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
