The Brookwood Day Camp Sand Gnats shut out the Shaevitz & Shaevitz Scrappers on Saturday, May 13 by the score of 14-0. Daniel Schneider went the distance for the Sand Gnats surrendering only 1 hit while recording 11 of 12 outs via strikeout. The Gnats were led offensively by Schneider who went 2 for 2 with a 2 run homer and Ian Goodman who had a single and a double with 3 RBI's. Max Drew, Tyler Javitz, Nicholas Mu, Evan Kaminer, Robbie Busam, Jonah Caspe and David Yablans also contributed to the victory with key hits.

Ian Greene and and Jake Lomanica pitched solidly for the Scrappers and Lomanica broke up Schneider's no hit bid with a single in the 4th inning. The Gnats evened their record at 3-3 with the victory.
