A Levittown man was arrested by Nassau County Police following the investigation of a rape that occurred at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31.
According to detectives, Daniel Bile, 39, met a 40-year-old Syosset woman on the Internet at www.Match.com and after speaking several times on the telephone, they agreed to meet at a Syosset bar on May 30. The victim told police that while at the bar she became intoxicated and that she wanted to go home, but was unable to drive. Police reported Bile took her to his home where he allegedly forcibly raped her. According to police, after the rape, he told the victim he was going to buy cocaine and he left the house. The victim called police and was taken to North Shore University Hospital for treatment and examination.
Bile was arrested at his home at 5:43 a.m. He was charged with Rape 1st Degree.
