Local Muttontown resident Jim Green is preparing for the Ironman Triathlon to be held July 2 in Zurich, Switzerland. He will be swimming 204 miles in a lake in Zurich, biking 112 miles on the roads of the Swiss Alps and then running 26.2 miles, all of which will be done in 13 hours.

"This past year, I was better able to focus and train with my life becoming more set as a single parent," said Green. "Special thanks to my sons Mo and Kyle, and to Donna Conway who has been there for, and made me, all of those nutritious meals."
