Grandmother of Ricky (Felicia), Bobby, Andrew, Michael (Melissa), Danielle, Bobby, Kristen, Alaina, Nicole, Marie and Danielle. Great-grandmother of Michael Cameron. Elizabeth A. Hicks, of Mattituck, died at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City on July 12, 2006. She was 41 years old. "Liz" was born in Syosset on Jan. 4, 1965 to Holmes William and Lucy Evelyn (nee Greene) Hallock. She was a graduate of the State University of NY at Stony Brook and had been a systems analyst for Brookhaven National Labs.

She is survived by her husband Eugene; two sons, Christopher and Adam; her parents, Holmes and Lucy Hallock of Greenport; two brothers, Gary Hallock and Kenneth Hallock; a sister Lee Carmen.

Arrangements were made by the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home, Mattituck. Funeral services were held at the funeral home with Rev. Clyde Mellinger. Interment New Bethany Cemetery, Mattituck.
