A plan for the Syosset Redevelopment and Revitalization was adopted on April 25. It was developed by a steering committee and a planning consultant after nearly two years of dedicated work.

In my opinion little was accomplished. Elected TOB members should be held responsible for implementing many of the recommendations. When? Since 1972 our community has studied various proposals to improve the quality of life in the downtown area. How long will the residents of Syosset wait for changes? Perhaps we will know in November.
