Four amateur golfers will receive the chance of a lifetime when they play at the Cadillac Invitational Golf Tournament hosted by The Kidney & Urology Foundation of America, on Monday July 24, 2006. The tournament will be played at "The Creek" golf course in Locust Valley, NY. The golf format is designed as a four-person scramble, with the winning foursome earning an invitation to compete in the Cadillac Invitational Finals at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Winners will also receive four Callaway Golf Fusion FT-3 Custom Fit Drivers.
The festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with brunch and registration. Shotgun time is set for 12:30 p.m. A variety of contests will go on throughout the day including the longest drive, hole-in-one, closest to the pin and a putting contest. The tournament will conclude at 6:30 p.m. with a "Steak & Lobster Beach BBQ" on site, accompanied by an awards ceremony.
Each team competing in the Invitational must consist of four amateur golfers, male or female, whose USGA Handicap totals 43 or more, although, one golfer on each team may have a handicap of 8 or less. Any golfer wishing to participate must present a copy of his or her handicap card. Any golfer who does not have a USGA Handicap Index will have to provide score cards attested to by a PGA Professional from which a "Cadillac Invitational Handicap" will be calculated in accordance with USGA rules.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Kidney and Urology Foundation of America's many-faceted programs that bring help and hope to millions of Americans who suffer from kidney and urologic disease through research, patient services, nationwide organ donor program, professional education and public information.
