The Jericho Jay Sox 10 and under baseball team has gotten off to a 3-3 start in the Mid Island Division. After starting the season by defeating Hicksville, 3-0 and Oceanside, 9-7, the Jay Sox suffered back-to-back losses to East Meadow and Merrick. Jericho bounced back with an 11-3 win over Westbury before suffering an 11-10 loss to Manhasset.

Jericho has been led by the pitching of Ryan Corcoran, Michael Goren and Matthew Lesser, the hitting of Conor McElhinney, the infield defense of Ryan Condon, Max Strauss and Matthew Rothman, the outfield play of Zach Siegmann, Jake LoMonaco, Harry Kaye and Jared Weiss and the catching of Joe Velotti.

The Jay Sox start a three game road trip this week playing at Rockville Centre on Saturday, July 29, at Bellmore on Monday, July 31 and at Massapequa Coast on Tuesday, August 1.
