In August, the Women of Distinction 2006 Award, sponsored by Assemblyman Rob Walker, honored nineteen outstanding women of the 15th Assembly District.

I was deeply honored and humbled to be included in this prestigious group, and I proudly accepted the award on behalf of the board and the membership of RESIDENTS for a more beautiful Syosset.

Assemblyman Rob Walker works tirelessly to make things happen for our community. Shortly after RESIDENTS was formed eight years ago, he was instrumental in the planting of the beautiful trees that now line Jackson Avenue, the gateway to downtown Syosset.

RESIDENTS for a more beautiful Syosset looks forward to many more years of working with Assemblyman Rob Walker to make Syosset safer and more beautiful.
