Syosset Baseball Association would like to express our extreme gratitude to Town of Oyster Bay Officials, Commissioner of Parks, Richard Betz, Director of Operations, Andrew Rothstein and Executive Assistant to Town Supervisor John Venditto, Steven Marx for their time extended to the Board of Syosset Baseball Association at our monthly board meeting on Oct. 13.

With the cooperation and partnership of President Rob Jolson, these officials accepted our invitation to address the concerns of Syosset Baseball Association and the field maintenance and safety of our fields. We take pride in our community and are looking to correct and build for our 1,500 players (ages 5 through 18 and over), a stronger environment for Syosset baseball players to play on with the best and safest fields possible.

During the presentation, they've committed to us whatever it takes, within their scope, that they are "committed to us as an organization."

We look forward to working closely with Commissioner Betz and his team in addressing our fields so we can be proud of our fields that we play on together throughout our intramural season and our travel schedule with visiting towns enjoying playing on our fields.
