The Robin Hood Day Camp Pistons completed the first half of the JAA fifth grade basketball season with an unblemished 5-0 record, after a 53-34 victory over the Incredible Feet Nets last Sunday. The Pistons led the game from a breakaway basket off the opening tip by power forward David Hochler, to a last second bank shot in the final period by Jason Barbagallo. The big story of the game, however, was the balanced scoring from both squads. All 15 players who participated in the game contributed points. This is the third game in a row that each Piston player has scored.

The Pistons were led by center Spencer Shapiro with 14 points. The Nets had no answer for his strong inside game. He also collected double-digit rebounds. The Pistons' balanced attack featured 8 points from Zach Seigmann, 7 from Jason Barbagallo, 4 each from Jake Zorfas, Jack Roberts, Brett Rosenberg, David Hochler and Ian Goodman, and 2 points from guard Sanjay Kalra. Great passing, teamwork and tenacious defense have become the signature of the Pistons this year, and this continued during Sunday's victory.

The Nets were led by guard Michael Blumberg, who threw down 17 points. Speedy guard Adam Rosner added 8, Max Drew had 3, and Ben Kronengold, Chris Puccio and Robert Brown each contributed a basket.
