Syosset Baseball Association recently announced that registration for the 2008 Spring season is now available online at www.syossetbaseball.org.

Returning players can register online ages 6-17. Those players who haven't played in Syosset Baseball Association, will need to register in person, one of two dates, January 9, 2008 7 -9 p.m. or January 12, 2008 from 9 a.m. - noon. All players must have the completed form which was mailed out to all returning players, the website www.syossetbaseball.org-downloaded from League documents or the form that was sent home with children in their backpacks, a check in the full amount of registration at the level of your child's participation and an original birth certificate to show for date of birth validation.

Registration is also available my mail. Please download the form from the website www.syossetbaseball.org, complete and mail with your check to: Syosset Baseball Association, PO Box 302, Syosset, New York 11791.

Syosset Baseball Association is always seeking for volunteer managers and coaches. If you wish to assist in one of these capacities, please check off the appropriate box on the registration form for consideration as teams are formed. Additionally, if you or your company wish to sponsor a team, Syosset Baseball Association graciously accepts the support to our league as a sponsor of a team. Again, there is a provision on the registration form for sponsorship at a fee of $250 per sponsor/ per team.

Refund policies will be honored in full prior to February 28, 2008. From Feb. 28, 2008 to opening day, refund requests will be granted less a uniform allowance (allowance varies by age). No refunds will be granted after opening day unless medically necessary. All refund requests must be sent in writing to Syosset Baseball Association.

The season is tentatively scheduled to kick off at the beginning of April 2008. Those divisions requiring mandatory evaluations will be notified of the respective dates and times at which time, your child must attend one of those designated times. Upon evaluations, teams will be formed, managers will be notified and you will be notified from your manager as to the team you have been put on.
