In the Syosset Fire District, Roy Brouillard received 595 votes defeating Don Russo, who received 255 votes, to serve a five-year-term as Syosset Fire Commissioner.

Christian Pieper was re-elected as a fire commissioner to serve for the remaining three years on his term. He received 519 votes and defeated Robert Manfredonia who received 170 votes.

In Jericho, Lawrence Bachteler, Jr. ran unopposed and will begin his third term in office in January 2008.
