Mehender Sabhnani and his wife Varsha Sabhnani, who were arrested in May on charges of keeping two Indonesian women as slaves in their Muttontown home, were found guilty on all 12 counts.

Jurors heard evidence throughout the six-week trial and took just over two days to find Mehender and Varsha Sabhnani guilty on all 12-counts, including forced labor and harboring aliens.

At a bail hearing on Thursday, Judge Arthur Spatt ordered Varsha Sabhnani to jail and decided that Mehender Sabhnani could return to house arrest until their March 28 sentencing.
