Syosset Baseball Association recently announced that starting the first week in May, the New York Mets Baseball Academy will be on site to provide weekly clinics for the 5-8 Year Old Divisions.

This opportunity to partner with The New York Mets Baseball Academy came about through our association with them and their summer Academy that has been successfully run the past four summers and has sold out both weeks each year at our location.

The clinics will be held at our AP Willits Elementary School fields from 4:15 - 5:45 p.m. with each Division being assigned 1 day of the week that their clinic will be held. Academy instructors will be on-site to provide their hands-on knowledge of the game to help improve the skills of our baseball players and provide them with the necessary fundamentals of the game to become stronger players as they move up the league from T-ball through Senior League.

Registration for these clinics will cost $100 for the 6-week program. The commitment for each player must be for the entire 6 weeks A registration form will be available on-line for signup with checks made payable to: Triple Crown Baseball, LLC in the amount of $100.

T-Ball Divisions 5 and 6 year old clinics will be held on Monday and Tuesday and the 7 and 8 Year old Divisions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. You must select a particular day and that day will be the day your child will be signed up for.

Refunds and cancellations: Due to limited enrollment, cash refunds will only be issued if notification of cancellation is received 30 days prior to the start of the clinics. No refunds will be honored thereafter. No partial refunds will be offered for clinics missed due to a player's illness.

Please be aware that these clinics are being offered through Syosset Baseball Association but are under that administration, direction and management of the New York Mets Baseball Academy and any policies and procedures are setup and administered through the New York Mets Baseball Academy.

For divisions and teams that have games that day, the clinics will be over by 5:45pm to allow you to get to your assigned game field prior to the start of your game.

The New York Mets Baseball Academy is working closely with the Syosset Baseball Association to develop a curriculum specific to our players and talent so the players will feel rewarded with their improvements and we will be able to apply these newly learned skills on the field on game day.

The New York Mets Baseball Academy will be providing a ratio of Coaches to players to ensure that each player will be getting the proper instruction, attention and direction throughout the clinics.

All attending players will receive a certificate of completion from The New York Mets Baseball Academy. All players attending must be ready to play baseball that day, dressed in their baseball uniforms: shirt, pants, hat, sneakers/ cleats and a baseball glove. Each participating player will receive a New York Mets Baseball Academy shirt.

The goal of The New York Mets Baseball Academy and Syosset Baseball Association is to provide an instructional program that is educational, and fun through a safe environment for the players to enhance their baseball skills.
