Mary Margaret Quinn, of Syosset, died on Jan. 31, 2008. Mother of Dr. Mary Rose Paster, a psychologist in Glen Cove and a resident of Locust Valley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made by the Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head. Funeral Mass at St. Pius Church, Oyster Bay Cove. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Pinelawn. Thomas Frank Person, of Syosset, passed away on Feb. 4, 2008, the result of post-surgical complications after a four-year struggle with multiple health issues. Born April 25, 1933 in Minneapolis, MN, he graduated Valedictorian from Pillsbury Military Academy and Phi Beta Kappa from University of Minnesota. He married Karene Michels Person in 1955 and enjoyed a 35-year career with Equitable Life Assurance Society (AXA) before starting his own Executive Search firm, TFP Managers, based in Oyster Bay. Tom and Karene have three children, Anne, Claire and Roger, and 12 grandchildren, all of whom remember Tom for his kindness, intellect and integrity, as well as his unswerving devotion to and love for his family and friends, especially his wife Karene.
