High school senior Marc Graziano finished in second place at the Nassau County Wrestling Championship that was held at Hofstra on Saturday, Feb. 23. Graziano, who wrestles at 215 lbs., is the first county finalist for Jericho in more than 34 years. In addition, Nick Tuccillo, a sophomore who wrestles at 130 lbs., earned an All-County title with a sixth place finish.

This year, Jericho sent the most wrestlers ever to the sectionals with a total of eight wrestlers. The prior school record-best was seven. Jericho wrestlers posted their best finish ever in the Section 8 County Tournament with an 18th place.

Ten All-Conference Wrestlers this year include: sophomore Mike Tuccillo, 3rd at 125 lbs., sophomore Nick Tuccillo, 2nd at 130 lbs., junior Mike Camhi, 5th at 135 lbs., junior Steven Ackerman, 3rd at 140 lbs., sophomore Joe Chamish, 3rd at 152 lbs., senior Marc Rosenberg, 3rd at 160 lbs., sophomore Steven Graziano, 3rd at 171 lbs., junior Frank Modica, 5th at 171 lbs., senior Marc Graziano, 3rd at 215 lbs. and junior Greg Quackenbush, 3rd at 285 lbs.
