Family History Workshop

Please join the Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island (JGSLI) for the 22nd Annual Family History Workshop, “Jewish Genealogy 101: Four Hours+ to Your Family Roots,” from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at the Mid-Island Y-JCC at 45 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview. The workshop is a half-day course on sources and strategies essential for Jewish Genealogy research and is recommended both for beginners and for family historians who want to brush up or expand their skills. Cost is $45 per person ($55 after Jan. 18). Attendees will receive a copy of the workshop manual. A light lunch, bagels and spreads, coffee and cake, will be served. Muttontown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

The Fellowship provides an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie, with talks presented by intelligent, enlightening and non-dogmatic speakers who come from the entire spectrum of the arts, history and sciences.
