Jericho’s Arthur M. Katz, president of Knockout Pest Control, was named to the board of The Jewish Academy, Suffolk County’s only Jewish Day School. Active in Long Island’s Jewish, business and professional communities, he currently serves as president of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island (JCRC).
“We are delighted to have Arthur Katz serve on the Jewish Academy’s board of directors,” said board president Anita Kaufman. “His commitment to Long Island’s Jewish community along with his leadership role in the region’s business arena makes him a valuable resource for the school.”
Katz lives in Jericho with his wife Barbara and his two adult daughters, Sara and Stephanie and a son-in-law Bradley Werner. He is past president of Temple Or Elohim in Jericho and is a member of the Tam O’Shanter Club in Old Brookville.
