The First Annual Polo Match to benefit Saddle Rock Ranch, operated by Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE), was held at the Meadowbrook Polo Club in Old Westbury on Saturday, August 7. The National Foundation for Human Potential raised just under $20,000 for the program and operation at Saddle Rock Ranch, and the Squadron A Foundation.

International Junior Golf Tour With Syosset Player Wins 2010 North America Cup

The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) returned once again to international competition with a team composed of fourteen of the United States most talented junior golfers, including Willis Huynh of Syosset, to participate in the North America Cup. This marks the eighth year that IJGT Team USA has competed against the Canadian Junior Golf Association’s (CJGA) Team Canada. Commonly referred to as one of North America’s most prestigious events, players had the unique opportunity to participate in a Ryder Cup format match play event. Held at the immaculate May River Golf Club, players had the opportunity to compete against each country’s best players over three days.
