Carey High School January Seniors of the Month

Tri-M Vice President, Spirit Day Art Director honored

January’s Male Senior of the Month is a kind, compassionate, and all around great student and role model. This easygoing young man is hard working and highly intelligent and fully earned his membership in the National, World Language, and Music Honor Societies.

His stage presence has been applauded for many years and specifically for his roles in this year’s dramatic and musical productions. As a musician through and through, he leads his peers as the very dedicated and enthusiastic President of the Musical Department and Vice President of the Tri-M Honor Society.

In addition, he has been a part of All District Chorus for the last four years and volunteers his time to help others both in the school and in the community.  For the countless hours that he has dedicated to our school and for being a most sincere and caring individual, Carey congratulates Patrick Grogan with January’s Male Senior of the Month.

January’s Female Senior of the Month is a very friendly, dedicated, and talented young woman. She has been a shining star this school year both on the stage and off.

Academically, she is an incredibly hard working student and has excelled in all subject areas. She dedicated a lot of her time to her outstanding lead performance in our fall dramatic production and will be seen again in another leading role in the spring musical.

She has taken on many leadership roles as Treasurer of the Musical Department, President of Fundraising for Invisible Children, and Art Director for the Spirit Day Wall for the Class Board.  In addition, she is a peer mediator, active in Voices Unheard, and a member of the Homecoming Court.  For all of this and more, Carey awards a most sensational young lady, Allie Kadell, with January’s Female Senior of the Month.
