With the health and well-being of all our senior residents in mind, I have asked the Town of Hempstead's Department of Senior Enrichment to again provide free flu immunizations for all town residents who are over 60 years of age. The shots will be available to seniors during the months of October and November. It is important that all older people receive a flu shot every year. We ask that seniors register for this program by obtaining a registration form at any local senior center or club.
You may choose the site most convenient to you to receive your flu shot. The registration form may be returned to the senior centers of your choice, or mailed to the Department of Senior Enrichment at 200 North Franklin Street, Hempstead, NY 11550.
