Carle Place High School's Varsity Field Hockey team earned its 14th Section VIII Class "C" Championship in the last 15 years. The 1999 team ended their season with an impressive 15-3-1 overall record, playing some of the strongest teams in Nassau County. Head Coach Claire Iglesias and Assistant Coach Karianne Terino did an outstanding job preparing their team for a vigorous, competitive league season and an opportunity to successfully defend their county title for a second consecutive year. This year's team earned another Section VIII/County Championship which represents their sixth in a row.
