In my position as leader of the Nassau Republican delegation to the New York State Assembly, I am pleased to announce that a plan to provide fiscal stability has been adopted by the Assembly.

The legislative action taken in this house will allow Nassau County to build a secure future for its residents through prudent fiscal practices. As a lifelong resident of Nassau County, and as the 15th District representative in the Assembly, the county's future is very important to me.

I am gratified by the bipartisan spirit in the Assembly that has brought about the approval of a plan to address Nassau County's financial situation, and I am proud to have played a part in providing a suitable solution.
