Anne K. Barnes, of Westbury, died on Dec. 26, 2003. She was a life member of the East Meadow Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Wife of the late John F. Jr. Mother of Dorothy Bergamini (Dennis), John F. III (Saundra), Jacqueline Bittner, Raymond J. (Debra), Nancy (Anne) Barnes (Thomas) and the late Richard and Robert. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of WWII serving in all the major theaters in the Pacific. He was a member of the Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation. Husband of Florence. Father of Dr. Edward Jacobson.
