Charlie T. Christian, 71, of Westbury, formerly of Glen Cove, died recently. He was a retired foreman at C.W. Post College and retired Captain of the Glen Cove Special Police. Father of Vivian Christian Rew (Purnell), Kenneth, Deborah Reed and Zachary Blanding. Brother of Coley and Albert. Grandfather of Carmen, Lance, Chelsea and Zhane. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements were made by the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove. Service at Mount Olive Church. Burial Calverton VA Cemetery.
