L.I.A.B.C. Serves Up Another Successful Tennis Tournament

Despite the threat of rain, the Long Islanders Against Breast Cancer (L.I.A.B.C.) Annual Women's Tennis Tournament on July 27 at the Old Westbury Golf and Country Club was the most successful to date, raising more than $17,000 for breast cancer research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

L.I.A.B.C. - Long Islanders Against Breast Cancer - is a small fund-raising organization started approximately seven years ago by a concerned group of citizens who wanted to promote breast cancer research. All funds raised go directly to Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a leading breast cancer research facility on Long Island. They have no administrative or operating costs; they merely raise funds for Cold Spring Harbor and help fund its research.
